Two things cost us real money per unit, so we price them per unit rather than burying them in the plan. Both are available on every plan, including Solo.

Setup and services
Standard imports are included. Work we do for your practice alone is priced up front: on an annual plan you get the annual discount and can spread it over the first year; on a monthly plan it is paid before we start.

Pricing questions
Why is there no free plan?
Because a practice management system is not something you try on a whim. Moving a patient list, training a team and changing a daily routine all have to happen before any of the value arrives, and a free plan does not make that easier. You get a full 30-day trial instead, with your own data. Importing from a supported system is included.
What is a chair?
A treatment room with a dental chair. We count the chairs you set up in your Dora Dental calendar, so there is nothing to declare.
Who counts as a clinician?
Anyone who saw a patient or wrote a clinical note during the month: dentists, hygienists and therapists. A clinician who did neither costs nothing that month.
What does moving my data cost?
Importing from a supported system or our spreadsheet templates is included. If your system needs an import we build for you, we quote it before we start.
What do reminders cost?
Each chair includes 250 text or WhatsApp reminders a month. After that each message is £0.06. Email reminders are included.
Why do you publish different prices by country?
Because a practice in Caracas and a practice in Boston have very different economics, and pretending otherwise prices one of them out. We publish all three bands openly so you can see the whole picture. What we will not do is quietly switch the price based on your IP address.
What stops a US practice buying at the lowest band?
The band belongs to the business, not the browser. It follows your practice’s registered country and is fixed when you sign. Changing it would mean changing where the business is registered, which nobody does to save a subscription fee.
Do I pay for my receptionist?
No. You pay only for clinicians: anyone who treats patients under their own name or professional registration, such as dentists and hygienists. Dental assistants, reception and practice managers are unlimited and free on every plan.
What happens if I add a sixth clinician on the Practice plan?
We tell you, and you move up a plan at the next billing cycle. The same goes for a new chair. Nothing stops working and nobody gets locked out mid-treatment.
Does each clinician cost more on a bigger plan?
No, less. The price per clinician is lowest on Group and highest on Solo, so adding an associate never makes the seats you already have any dearer. A growing practice should be rewarded for growing, not charged extra for it.
Are the security controls an upsell?
No. Role-based access, the audit trail of every change and encrypted storage are on every plan, including Solo.
